My doctorate in Clinical Psychology is from The Graduate Center, C.U.N.Y and I completed training as a psychoanalyst at the NYU Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
People say I'm easy to talk to. Here's a little bit about me. I received my graduate degree from NYU and have completed extensive post-graduate training in the treatment of mental health and addiction disorders. Why work with me? I'm a seasoned clinician who has supervised graduate-level Psychology and Mental Health Counseling students from Universities on Long Island and NYC. I'm passionate about the work we'll do together and am excited to join you on your journey.
Sometimes life can be so beautiful, and sometimes it can seem daunting, scary, and overwhelming. I am here to walk on one’s journey with him/her/them to help make sense of this crazy and complicated thing we call life. I believe that no problem is too big when one views the person behind the suffering. I have found myself drawn to cases that are often avoided and cast out within the system, those that others struggle to help and find an answer for.

In my experience as a parent, a mental health counselor and a retired school counselor, I've come to love and appreciate the uniqueness of this age. There are specific challenges and demands that can make this a challenging and difficult time for you, so let's find ways to navigate them together.
My name is Wendy Green, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York. I work with adults, supporting them through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, relationship struggles, self-esteem concerns, and women’s issues.
I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. My approach is flexible and guided by your unique needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In practice, this means we’ll work together to explore your experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and find practical strategies that support your growth and well-being.
