I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Social Worker, with over 10 years of experience, and I draw from mindfulness, person-centered, cognitive behavioral techniques. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker and I work with older teenagers and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have a genuine understanding of — and sensitivity toward — the Orthodox Jewish community and the specific pressures, expectations, and experiences that come with that world. Whether it's the weight of community standards, a difficult family dynamic, identity questions, or something you haven't been able to talk about with anyone in your circle, you don't have to figure it out alone. I want to be honest about who I work best with: clients who are ready to do meaningful inner work and are looking for real change — not just crisis management.
My name is Samantha G Stringer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked with youths, adults, the elderly, veterans, church groups, and families as they struggled with conflicts, life transitions, mental health, and substance use related issues. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to inner healing and new beginnings!
Melanie MacIntosh, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over ten years of nursing experience and a strong foundation in behavioral health. She provides compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan.
Melanie has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is skilled in psychopharmacology, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and crisis assessment and response. She holds additional certifications in suicide prevention through the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and completed the KySS Child & Adolescent Mental Health Fellowship Program, reflecting advanced training in the assessment and treatment of pediatric and adolescent populations.
She is a recipient of the DAISY Award, the Gold Heart Nurse of Distinction, & a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, honors that reflect her commitment to clinical excellence, collaborative care, and advocacy for patients and families.
I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients are invited to make sense of their experiences in a way that feels authentic to them. Rather than directing the process, I focus on creating a supportive environment where individuals can speak openly, reflect at their own pace, and gain insight into their thoughts and emotions. In the midst of busy and often overwhelming daily life, having intentional time to pause and look inward can be a powerful part of personal growth.
Creating room for reflection can open the door to new perspectives and a deeper awareness of internal experiences. As clients begin to better understand their emotional responses and patterns, they often find greater clarity in how they relate to themselves and others. This increased awareness can support more intentional decision-making and help guide the next steps in their personal growth.
